60A DC-DC Charger

Your alternator is one of the easiest and most consistent ways to charge your battery bank. There is a balance, however, in how much power you pull from your alternator. If your battery bank is low and your alternator is wired directly without a DC-DC charger, you risk burning up your alternator as the batteries may draw more power from it than it can supply.

Enter the DC-DC charge controller. Our 60A model is the perfect balance between a strong charge current and a reasonable draw for most alternators. It also features a low power mode that allows charging at 30A for vehicles with low current alternators.

Pulling power at inappropriate times leads to failure of vehicle components and is not uncommon in other company’s DC-DC chargers. Our 60A DC-DC charge controller has a D+ input, which communicates with the vehicle’s existing charge system to pull power at the appropriate time so as not to stress the alternator.
